My Trip to Canada
Flying out from Albury made my trip all that easier, I didn’t have to organize a drive down to Melbourne which is a three hour drive. My last trip to LA I had an overnight stay in a Holiday Inn which added to the cost of the trip. This time it was fly straight out to LA from my own town.
There were no real issues on the travel. Although it threatened to be a bad trip with a two hour delay from Albury due to the Airport being closed in Sydney due to storms. I was sitting in Albury airport thinking “oh no, what if I miss my flight, what if I don’t get to go at all”. None the less, I still made it to the International flight on time but there was still delay when we had boarded the plane because of other delayed flights due to storms. We just had to wait for the people to show up. The flight was a little turbulent but nothing that threatened us dropping out of the sky. The turbulence did put us behind time again as we had caught up time in the first half of the flight then lost it all again.
Arriving in LA was a relief, my 15 hours of sitting was over. Collecting my bags, I found another bag quite the same as mine. Luckily I used my Aussie lanyard from last time so I could pick my bag out.
